Range of application
KW is designed to provide protection for users and equipment in fan motors, washing machines and other products. It can be used as a self-resetting thermal circuit breaker (type 2B), motor protector (type 3C) and ballast thermal protector.
Design principle
KW structure design is simple, with high enough sealing performance, suitable for paint dipping process, strengthened shell products can also be tied to the winding.
The spring arm transmits current from the lead to a terminal embedded in the lower pad via moving contacts and stationary contacts. The spring arm, bimetallic sheet, and base plate are riveted together by an insulating block, and the assembly is then inserted into the housing, which is then sealed with epoxy resin.
Since the trip time of cutting off the power depends on the working temperature of KW protector, the temperature level should be correctly selected. The model that best matches the motor can be selected by referring to the performance curve.
Technical characteristics
KW is designed to provide protection for users and equipment in fan motors, washing machines and other products. It can be used as a self-resetting thermal circuit breaker (type 2B), motor protector (type 3C) and ballast thermal protector.
The KW can be directly connected to the windings or clamped or inserted outside the motor sealed with resin. It can cut off the circuit directly. Because of the plastic housing, there is no insulation between the KW protector and the metal parts of the motor.
